Warning! Ensure bolt heads have sufficient clearance to bottom of installed M.2 module. Standard socket head cap screws do not fit in the two lower bolt holes. Use low profile or button head fasteners.
Before mounting and integration with any system, testing with a PC ensures the adapter PCB, cellular module, and SIM card are all working as expected.
Insert SIM card. Slide the upper tray cover according to 'OPEN' arrow (away from QR code) putting in place, and then closing SIM tray in the opposite direction.
Insert M.2 cellular module. The M.2 connector pins are sprung, so it will go in at a slightly raised angle.
Use M3 bolt to fasten cellular module in place.
Connect antennas to cellular modules (2x to most EM7455 modules).
Connect to a PC using a USB-C cable.
When connected correctly with signal, the LED between the USB-C and JST-GH connector should light up solid red.
In the network & internet settings menu a cellular connection should appear, along with the network operator and other details.
To test the connection, turn off or disconnect other internet connections (WiFi / ethernet)
